Tariff Commission/ BICP: Branch In charge of Drug Cell, Cost price Study of various Industrial products. Tariff recommendations - Water Pricing in SIPCOT, Fertilizer Industry, Pricing of Ships; (Ministry of Shipping and Transport).

National Pharmaceuticals Pricing Authority (NPPA), Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers: - Branch in charge of Drug Pricing Division, Cost price Study of various Scheduled Bulk Drug and Formulations Pricing. Preparation of Agenda papers and circulation to members of the Price fixing Authority and presentation in the Authority Meetings under Drug (Price Control) order 1995; (Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals).

Directorate General of Anti-Dumping & Allied Duties (DGAD), Ministry Of Commerce: Providing guidelines, directions, motivation of junior officers and staff associated with anti-dumping cases; and monitoring the progress of time bound anti-dumping investigations regularly; In charge of Costing Division for working out Non-Injurious Price (NIP) in respect of all Anti Dumping cases for adoption in their pre/ final findings; Handling of Anti-dumping cases wherein preliminary findings and final findings were recommended, which also involved number of exporters data verification; Facilitated formulation of uniform guidelines in dealing anti-dumping cases/ Methodology adopted in finalising NIP. Attended Meetings with Delegation of EU officials to discuss issues relating to Anti-dumping cases against EU by India. And was a speaker in a workshop conducted by IIFT for DGFT officers in number of courses.

The Office of Directorate General of Audit, Customs & Central Excise & Service Tax, New Delhi.
To develop and provide policy direction and programme leadership to Central Excise internal audit including Excise Audit 2000 (EA 2000) and ensure its effective and efficient implementation, including periodic review and updating of the Audit Manuals, Excise audit programme and ‘Audit protocol’. -To develop and provide policy direction and support to Service Tax Audit Programme, including preparation and periodic updating of Audit Manual for Service Tax and evolve a mechanism to ensure effective and efficient implementation of this programme, with the assistance of the Directorate General of Service Tax (DGST).

Worked in Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited as Costing Supervisor and was involved in the following activities:

  • Involved in implementation of cost accounting system from inception till final stage.
  • Had good exposure to systems and procedures since Company is a FMCG Company.
  • Coordinating with cost auditors for successful completion of cost audits
  • Good experience in the following areas:
    • Working capital management
    • Maintenance of fixed assets register
    • Valuation of stock including work in progress (WIP), Preparation of monthly profit & loss (P&L) account
    • Preparation of various documents for submission to banks for approval of loans

Worked in International Instruments Ltd as Executive Costing and was involved in the following areas:
