About us

We are a firm of Cost Accountants in practice and having two partners holding Certificate of Practice issued by ICWAI and in full time practice. Earlier this firm was known as M/S. Prabhakar & Co., a proprietorship firm, with its associates and rendering service since 2006. The works carried out/ being carried out by the firm are:

Audit of Stocks & Receivables for Working Capital financing.(Rs.2Crores to Rs.120 Crores) on behalf of large Banks like Canara Bank, Syndicate Bank, Corporation Bank, UCO Bank etc,
Successfully devised Costing System for a Company in the field of Fabrication & erection of Industrial sheds (Rs.100 Crore turnover p.a.)
Carried out an exercise to validate the level of compliance achieved by the newly introduced ERP system by one of the units of a PSU w.r.t. applicable Cost Accounting Standards / Rules.
Installation of Costing System in an Engineering/ manufacturing company (Machine manufacturing with Rs.500 Crores turnover) and Energy Server manufacturing company (turnover of Rs.150 crores) and in an Advertising Company (turnover of Rs.50Crores),etc.
Installation of costing system for plantation divisions of a state Government PSU and issuance of compliance certificate under CARR 2011.
Cost Analysis and Performance Evaluation have been carried out for a project of National importance under execution by a unit of Defence Ministry
The Firm has conducted and is also conducting Cost Audit for a large central PSU, 2 companies of a Bangalore based Indian MNC in IT field, Indian unit of an MNC manufacturing electrical equipment ( TO of Rs.350 Crores), an MNC manufacturing CNC machines(TO Rs.250 Crores),a Power generating company( Hydro) to mention a few important clients.
The Company was and is Cost Auditor for an Indian Company of 2 MNCs, in Pharma Industry and also for an Engineering manufacturing company with a Turnover of Rs.300 Crores p a.
Verification & Certification regarding maintenance of Cost Records as required under Sec.148 of Companies Act,2013.
The firm has carried out verification and filing of Compliance Report under CARR2011, for many companies in various sectors like Textiles, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing etc,.
The Firm has been appointed as Internal Auditors for The Karnataka Handloom Development Corporation Ltd & Karnataka Handicrafts Development Corporation

The firm has the facility to draw upon the services of experts (who are the Associates of the firm) from the relevant field, as and when required.
